Barbara M. Foster

Barbara M. Foster, age 91, of Las Vegas, formerly of Seaside, died Saturday, April 9, 2011, in Las Vegas. She was born May 26, 1919, in Centralia, Wash., to Lorenzo D. and Dorothy E. (Rickard) Moorhead. She attended school in Portland. On Feb. 14, 1984, she married Samuel G. Foster. He preceded her in death Aug. 21, 2006. Mrs. Foster and her husband relocated to Seaside in 1991. She moved to Nevada in the last few years to live close to her son, Frederick L. Hegeberg, who survives, residing in Las Vegas. She was the last survivor of a family of nine girls. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Leah A. Teagle, in 1995. Private interment will be at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland.
