Mindy Jo Mcmackin

Mindy Jo McMackin, age 31, of Warrenton, died Friday, April 22, 2011, in Warrenton. She was born March 28, 1980, in San Bernardino, Calif., to Barbara L. Everson and Robin McMackin. Her parents survive. Her mother resides in Astoria; her father resides in California. She attended Astoria High School.   Ms. McMackin worked at the Labor Temple, Portway Tavern and Geno’s Pizza.   Family members said she loved to cook, read, and go to the eagle sanctuary to relax.  In addition to her parents, she is survived by a son, Nikolas C.T. McMackin of Astoria; a brother, Donald P. Everson of Astoria; a grandmother, Betty J. Townsend of Janesville, Wis.; three uncles, Ken McMackin and his wife, Violet, of California, and Kenneth and Richard Everson and their families of Wisconsin; two brothers, Evan and Jacob McMackin of California; a sister, Leticia McMackin of California; and three cousins, Kenny McMackin Jr. and Anthony and James McMackin of California.   A public memorial wil be held from 4 to 7 p.m. May 15 at T. Paul’s Supper Club, 360 12th St. Memorial contributions may be made for a trust fund for Ms. McMackin’s son to the account of Niko McMackin or Barbara Everson at Bank of Astoria. Caldwell’s Luce-Layton Mortuary in Astoria is in charge of the arrangements.
