Christine Marie Boothe-Walker, 55, of Astoria, died Monday, Oct. 31, 2011, in Astoria.
She was born Feb. 16, 1956, in Wakefield, Mich., to Dennis Dean and Helen Isabel (Baima) Wolffe. Her parents preceded her in death.
In 1974, she graduated from high school in Wisconsin. She graduated from the Astoria Beauty College in 1993.
She married Wesley “Charlie” Boothe. They later divorced. He survives, residing in Anchorage, Alaska.
On Aug. 6, 1991, she married Jack N. Walker Jr. at the Astoria Courthouse. He survives, residing in Astoria.
Mrs. Boothe-Walker moved to Astoria in 1988. She worked at Third Dimension Cuts in Warrenton and later at the Perfect Look Salon in Warrenton as a stylist/manager for 17 years.
She was a member of Coastline Christian Fellowship Church.
Family members said she enjoyed reading books, helping with her grandsons, shopping with friends and traveling to places she had never been before.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Samantha and Adam Hall of Warrenton and Angela Hahn/Snyder and Joshawa Snyder of Astoria; a son, David Walker of Salem; a sister-in-law, Debbie Schmidt of Warrenton; a mother-in-law, Carol Boothe of Astoria; an aunt, Judy Curry of Cannon Beach; four grandsons, Daniel and Austin Hahn and Brayden Snyder, all of Astoria, and Nathaniel Hall of Warrenton; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Wolffe; an uncle, Vince Curry; and a daughter, Tonya Boothe.
A celebration of life will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, at Shively Hall, 1530 Shively Park Road.
Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Astoria.
