Frank Joseph Brown Jr.

Frank Joseph Brown Jr., 58, of Warrenton, died Monday, Dec. 5, 2011, in Warrenton.

He was born July 8, 1953, in Aberdeen, S.D., to Frank Joseph Brown Sr. and Violet Rose (Eisenbeis) Brown. His parents preceded him in death.

In 1971, he graduated from Astoria High School. He received associate's degrees in a variety of subjects.

On May 6, 1978, he married Suzette Eileen "Sue" Brown in Astoria. She survives, residing in Warrenton.

As a teenager, Mr. Brown started working with his father as a chef's assistant at restaurants. He worked at dairies and canneries until 1979, when he went to work at Medical Ambulance and Yellow Cab Company, where he retired.

He was a member of the American Legion.

Family members said after retiring, he became known as the "computer guy." He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, computers and all recreational activities.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Dean Case of Grangeville, Idaho; a son, Frank J. Brown III of Bay City; four grandchildren, Carlos Ramires and Joey Case of Grangeville and Zoey Brown and Haley Blazer of Bay City; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Mike and Lynn Brown of Astoria and Rich and Diane Brown of Deep River, Wash.; a sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Steve Galbraith of Olathe, Kan.; and several nieces and nephews.

He will be interred at Greenwood Cemetery.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
