Marcell Street, 93, of McMinnville, formerly of Clatsop County, died Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2012, in McMinnville.

She was born June 17, 1918, in Portland, to Lewis and Florence (Riley) Christensen.

Mrs. Street lived in Oregon all of her life. She worked at Tektronix in Beaverton and Sartron in Newberg in the 1950s and 1960s, and as an electronics instructor at Tongue Point Job Corps Center in Astoria in the 1960s and 1970s.

Family members said she enjoyed fishing, especially for trout and salmon. She also enjoyed deer hunting. When she was younger, she shot a deer between the eyes. She liked word find and crossword puzzles. In the 1960s, she built a color TV using a kit. She also built radios.

She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Dixie and Ralph Rossi of Yamhill and Jackie and Phil Jamieson of Vancouver, Wash.; nine grandchildren, Niki Webber and her husband, Randy, and Sandy and Candy Tetzlaff, all of Portland, Tina Murphy and her husband, Arieh, of Redding, Calif., Nathan Jones and his wife, Joann, of Seaside, Nicole Worden and her husband, Rick, of Heppner, Desiree Friend of LaGrande and James Deiter and his wife, Veronica, and Cassandra Deiter, all of Vancouver; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Duane Eldon Tetzlaff; and two husbands, Alfred Tetzlaff and Loyd Street.

A memorial will be held at noon, Saturday, Feb. 18, at the home of Dixie and Ralph Rossie in Yamhill.
