Christina Williams, 85, of Astoria, died Wednesday, April 18, 2012, in Astoria.
She was born July 24, 1926, in Monterrey, Mexico, to Justo Lopez and Concepcion Gonsalez.

She graduated from high school in Mexico and later took courses at Clatsop Community College.
She served for four years in the U.S. Air Force. She received a National Defense Service Medal and a German Occupation Medal.
On March 7, 1956, she married David J. Williams in Landsberg, Bavaria, Germany. He survives, residing in Astoria.
Mrs. Williams worked as a waitress and for the Astoria School District. She retired in 1997.
She was a member of the Little Ballet Theatre and the Portland Opera Association.
Family members said she enjoyed music and dance, and loved her pets.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Sandra Lopez Mickelson of Foster City, Calif.; two granddaughters, Michelle Mickelson of Livermore, Calif., and Natashia Gomez of Foster City; and four great-grandchildren, Monica Robles Gomez and Elijah Gomez of Foster City and Cameron Jones and Maria Rose of Livermore.
A celebration of life has not yet been arranged.
