Sirkka Kaarina Wuori

Sirkka Kaarina Wuori, age 90, of Astoria, died Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland. She was born March 11, 1922, in Kontiolahti, Finland, to Antti and Maria (Hartikainen) Pitkanen. She married Toivo Eugene Wuori. He preceded her in death. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Anita and Jon Gimre; two grandchildren, Kerensa and Karsten Gimre; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Vaino Pitkanen and Tapani and Helli Pitkanen; and two sisters and a brother-in-law, Aune Kangas and Rauha and Ellis Tuomainen. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Heikki and Osmo Pitkanen. A private graveside service will be held at Ocean View Cemetery in Warrenton.
