David Lee Langa, age 60, of Seaside, died Aug. 15, 2012, in Seaside. He was born May 28, 1952 in Astoria to Robert Dale Langa and Frances Marie Paquette. As a child, he attended schools in Seaside. Later in life, he worked in the construction trade for a time, including at the Trojan Nuclear Plant. He also worked in various canneries throughout the county and in Alaska. He drove a cab and worked at gas stations, but he retired early for health reasons. He is survived by his mother, Frances Godwin, and stepfather, Charles Godwin of Seaside; a brother, Ronald Langa of California; a stepbrother, Steven Godwin, and his wife, Kelly, of Brownsmead; two sisters, Cynthia Langa and Peggy Marie Heidie, both of Seaside; and a stepsister, Candy Tietsch, and her husband, Joe, of Hammond.
