Yaire Martinez-Mendez

Yaire Martinez-Mendez, 7, of Seaside, died Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, in Seaside.

She was born May 15, 2005, in Astoria, to Gustavo Martinez-Garcia and Cindy Mendez-Uritz. Her parents survive, residing in Seaside.

Yaire lived with her parents and sister and brothers. She attended Seaside Heights Elementary School and enjoyed drawing and painting. She and her family are members of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Seaside.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by two brothers, her twin, Alexis Martinez-Mendez, and Jamill Martinez-Mendez, both of Seaside; a sister, Meghan Martinez-Mendez of Seaside; and four grandparents, Celia Garcia Garcia and Casildo Martinez-Pahva of Mexico and Rosa Maria Gonzales and Jose Guadalupe Mendez of Seaside.

A funeral will be held at noon Wednesday, Nov. 14, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 120 Oceanway in Seaside.
