She was married to Daniel Robert Andrew Smith at her mother’s former Warrenton residence on July 11th, 2009.

Nancy worked in the service industry for the majority of her years, bringing joy to many by filling their tummies and hearts with her delicious food and unconditional love.

She was an integral part of the Victorians 4ever softball team for upwards of 20 years, as well as a much loved and well heard character in the local and surrounding area softball community.

She had an irrefutable positive energy and the most radiant smile that brightened the day of everyone around her. If ever anyone was feeling low, a “Nancy hug” was all it took to ease the sadness. She had a fantastic sense of humor and a contagious laugh that could not be denied. Nancy was always a beam of light in days of darkness and the rock for so many people. The strength she exuded and instilled in those around her will carry on her beautiful spirit forever. May she rest in peace.

The formal viewing for Nancy was held at Caldwell’s Luce-Layton Mortuary, 1165 Franklin Avenue, Astoria, OR 97103 on Sunday, January 6th, 2013
