Frank Charles Hopp

Frank Charles Hopp, 82, of Seaside, died in Seaside, Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013.

He was born Sept. 12, 1930 in Minnesota to Jack and Dorothy Hopp.

Mr. Hopp left Minnesota with his family at age 2 and moved to Oregon, eventually residing in Astoria. He was a welder by trade and worked in commercial fishing. His hobby was playing the steel guitar.

He married Nancy Jean Rogerson, Jan. 23, 1972 in Reno, Nev. She survives, living in Seaside.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Melissa Hopp of Pasco, Wash., and Shari Hopp of Phoenix, Ore.

Mr. Hopp requested no funeral.

Private Interment will be at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland

Caldwell’s Funeral & Cremation Arrangement Center in Seaside is in charge of arrangements.
