Adora Mae Morris, 93, of Brownsmead, died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, in Astoria.
She was born June 22, 1919, in Molalla, to Charles D. and Louise K. (Conrow) Bagby.
She graduated from Garibaldi High School.
In February 1936, she married Victor R. Townsend. The couple had three children, and later divorced.
On June 6, 1953, she married Thomas W. Morris. He preceded her in death May 10, 2011.
Mrs. Morris worked at Leon’s Clothing Store in Astoria and for Barbey Packing Company.
Family members said her hobbies included reading, knitting, crocheting, traveling, snow skiing and motorcycle riding. She also enjoyed sewing clothes for her grandchildren.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Eva and Richard Perkins of Astoria; a daughter-in-law, Darlene Morris of Milwaukie; seven grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jeannie Hartmann; and a son, Chuck Morris.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, at Mountain View Cemetery, 500 Hilda St. in Oregon City.
