Luella Helen June Morgan Koskela

Luella Helen June Morgan was born in Winlock, Washington, June 13, 1916. Luella was the daughter of Helen T. Ostrom Morgan and Harry Cook Morgan. Luella had two younger sisters; Jeanette Morgan Graue and Lois Morgan. Lois Morgan passed away at age nine years old.
Luella was six years old when she saw the Astoria Fire in 1922. She watched the construction of the Astor Column in 1926. Luella married Eino “Lank” Koskela in 1937, and he preceded her in death, September 29, 1997. They had three children; Dennis Koskela, Mike Koskela and Lorell Koskela Stoneman. Dennis Koskela preceded her in death, April 11, 1996.
Luella loved to dance to her husband’s band and also enjoyed gardening. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and loved by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 17, 2014, from 1 to 5 p.m. at Caldwell’s Luce-Layton Mortuary.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 18, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. at Caldwell’s Luce-Layton Mortuary.
Graveside services with vault interment will be held Monday, January 20th, 2014, at 2 PM at the Ocean View Cemetery in Warrenton, Oregon.
