Maxine Dymond was raised in Denver, Colorado, by her grandparents, Tom and Ada Jennings. The family moved to Oregon in 1952. Maxine married Charles E. Dymond in 1938. He passed away in 2000. She had two children, Sharon Wolf and Bruce Dymond. Bruce passed away in 2013. She had many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Maxine was well known in the Astoria business community. She was a retail clerk for many years. Maxine also worked at Clatsop Community College, where she had responsibilities to run the college bookstore, the student center and the cafeteria, “Maxine’s.” In addition, she was active in the Anchor Club and the Rebekah Lodge. Her great laugh and sense of humor will be missed by everyone who knew her. “Maxine, you have earned your angel wings.
