Dominic Marko Rusinovich

Dominic Marko Rusinovich of Astoria, 38, passed away Tuesday.

Dominic was born on May 30, 1976, to Sherry (Tygart) and the late Nick Rusinovich Jr. He graduated from Astoria High School in 1994, and later from Oregon State University with a bachelor’s degree in business.

Dom enjoyed nothing more than golfing and spending time with friends and family. He was an avid reader and intellectual, and loved talking to people about anything. He loved learning about history, and was so proud of his family’s heritage and stories. He was going to take a trip to Croatia next year with his sister to visit the “old country.”

Dominic was a sweet, caring, kind person who was taken from us too soon, and will be loved and missed every day.

A service to celebrate Dominic will be held on Friday, August 22nd at 2:00 p.m. at Shively Hall in Astoria, OR.
