Walter Joseph Angstrom

Walter Joseph Angstrom was born March 9, 1944, and died Aug. 17, 2015, at the age of 71.

Walt was a native Astorian whose love for his home was surpassed only by his love for his family and friends. He is survived by four daughters, a stepson and stepdaughter, 16 grandchildren and a great-grandson. He was preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, Linda.

Walt’s generous spirit, giant heart and ability to fix anything mechanical will be missed by all who knew him.

Walt was an active member of St. Mary Star of the Sea Parish as well as several fraternal organizations.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2015, at 1 p.m., at St. Francis De Sales Mission, 867 Fifth Ave., Hammond, Ore.

Graveside services will follow at Ocean View Cemetery in Warrenton, Ore.
