Matt was born April 24, 1991 in Astoria, Oregon, to Joyce and Charlie Norris. He passed all too soon on Oct. 23, 2015.
Matt was a kind and caring person who had many friends. He touched many lives with his humor and thoughtfulness. Matty was a good friend, a proud brother, a great uncle, and a caring son.
He couldn’t get enough football, be it WHS, Ducks or Seahawks. He had an impressive knowledge of the game and its players. He enjoyed many types of music, from rap to rock to country. He loved camping, organizing many trips to Spruce Run. As a fisherman he was most proud of his trout he caught that landed him in a photo in The Daily Astorian. He spent a lot of time with friends at the beach. He was an accomplished cook, and he loved playing with his dog, Coco.
Matt was happily employed at Brim’s Farm and Garden. He took pride in his work and sought to better himself through education.
Matt is survived by his parents; brothers, Derek Konidakis of Tigard, Michael Konidakis of Medford, and Darren and sister-in-law Julie Konidakis of Tigard; grandmother, Judy Sullivan of Astoria; and numerous and special aunts and uncles and cousins. He had a special place in his heart for his nephew, Cooper, and nieces, Lacy and Kayana.
He was preceded in death by Grandma and Grandpa Sturgeon, Grandpa Norris, Grandpa Earls and cousin Scottie Earls.
You are one of the good guys Matt, the world is less without you.
