Dennis John Wing

Dennis John Wing passed away suddenly at home on Aug. 5, 2017.

Dennis was born on Sept. 8, 1965, to Richard and Carol Wing in Astoria, Oregon. Dennis was raised in Knappa and attended Knappa schools. Dennis worked in the logging industry for his entire life, until a back injury in 2011.

Dennis married Kerri Kelly in Reno, Nevada, on May 11, 1996. Dennis and Kerri welcomed two boys into their family, Brandon and Shawn.

Dennis loved his boys, clamming, hunting and yardwork. He loved hanging out in his backyard with friends and family. Dennis always had a smile and a quick-witted response. He was the type of person who everyone considered a friend.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Kerri; his children, Brandon and Molly and Shawn Wing; his parents, Dick and Carol Wing; his sister, Theresa and Mike Thwing; his brothers, Kenneth and Denise Wing and Don and Terri Wing; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of life potluck will be held on Friday, Aug. 11, 2017, at Big Creek Lodge, 92878 Waterhouse Road, Knappa, Oregon, from 4 to 8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Kerri Wing at any branch of Wauna Federal Credit Union.

The loss is immeasurable, but so is the love left behind.
