Gerald (Jerry) Franklin Hopp passed away Oct. 17, 2017, in a memory care facility in Portland.
Jerry was born in Oregon City on Dec. 24, 1941. He was the third-generation owner of Hopp’s Upholstery and Shoe Repair in Oregon City, where he lived until his retirement. He then moved with his wife, Nancy, to Seaside and Gearhart where he was usually found on a golf course until dementia made it impossible for him to play.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 55 years, Nancy Hopp of Seaside, four children and nine grandchildren.
His final resting place will be in Oregon City near his parents.
There will be a friends and family gathering at a later date.
