Ashlynn Dawn Anderson, 4, of Hammond and Knappa, died Sunday, Feb. 28, 2010, in Portland.

She was born May 24, 2005, in Astoria, to D'Ette C. Parker Browning and Ryan W. Anderson. Her mother and her husband, Jessie Browning, survive, residing in Knappa. Her father and his fiancee, Katie Perdue, survive, residing in Hammond.

She attended Warrenton Head Start and several of their reading classes. She also attended Encore Dance Studio and participated in swim lessons.

Family members said she loved going to the Seaside Library to read and look at books. She loved to dance, sing, play dress-up and doing her hair and makeup. She also loved riding her bike, and always wanted to share her bike and anything she was playing with, with her friends. She also loved attending the circus and the Clatsop County Fair.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by a brother, Patrick Perdue of Hammond, OR; a sister, Jaycie Browning of Knappa; several grandparents, Dan Parker and his companion, Elaine Williams and Jay and Sue Browning, all of Astoria, Sherrie Parker and her companion, Rod May, of Knappa, Don and Teri Wing and Larry and Colleen Rockwell, all of Warrenton, Rick and Cindy Anderson of Hillsboro and Jim and Debbie Perdue of Arbuckle, Calif.; several aunts and uncles, Dan'nette Parker of McCleary, Wash., Danny and Amber Parker of Rosburg, Wash., Jenn Sherman of Vancouver, Wash., Jared Browning of Knappa, April and Brody Welfringer of Salem, Tim and Daniel Wing, Jackie Smith and Tawni Anderson, all of Warrenton, Grant Anderson and Kristy Chow and Courtney and Brittany Anderson, all of Portland, and Christy and Dave Baker of Miami; three great-grandparents, Richard and Carol Wing of Warrenton and Bobbi Duffy of Coos Bay; and numerous cousins and other extended family members.

A memorial will be held at 2 p.m. March 14 at the Clatsop County Fairgrounds, 92937 Walluski Loop.

Memorial contributions may be given to Encore Dance Studio or the Seaside Public Library, in care of Caldwell's Luce-Layton Mortuary, 1165 Franklin Ave., Astoria, OR 97103.
