Dianne K. Perkins, 62, of Astoria, died Sunday, Nov. 14, 2010, in Astoria.

She was born Aug. 28, 1948, in Fort Pierre, S.D., to Howard Walbran and Edith Walbran Brown. Her parents preceded her in death. Her stepmother, Adeline Walbran, survives, residing in Astoria.

She was raised in California, and graduated from Sunnyvale (Calif.) High School.

On June 14, 1972, she married Kenneth Perkins. He survives, residing in Astoria.

Mrs. Perkins was a homemaker and rural mail carrier. She retired in 2009.

She was a member of Logan Road Chapel.

In addition to her husband and stepmother, she is survived by a son, Ted Perkins of Rochester, Minn.; three daughters and sons-in-law, Toni and Aaron Smith of Naselle, Wash., Teresa and Bryan Olsen of Astoria and Shelley and Grant Gulseft of Coos Bay; seven grandchildren, Tyler and Jordan Smith of Naselle, Lyndsy, Lauren and Steven Perkins of Mazeppa, Minn., and Jake and Koleby Olsen of Astoria; two sisters, Priscilla Cokley of Astoria and Berni Lincicum of Tigard; two brothers, Don Coolley of Sun City, Ariz., and Duane Walbran of Surprise, Ariz.; a cousin, Bonnie Walbran of Salem; and numerous other cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A memorial will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 21 at Logan Road Chapel, 90571 Logan Road.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with outstanding medical expenses in care of Kenneth Perkins at the Bank of Astoria.
