Dorothy Yvonne Horner, 81, of Seaside, died Thursday, Nov. 25, 2010, in Seaside.
She was born Oct. 28, 1929, in Augusta, Ga., to Manuel and Ada (Francis) Price.
In 1973, she married Forrest A. Horner in Central Valley, Calif. He survives, residing in Seaside.
Mrs. Horner and her husband lived in Sacramento, Calif. When he retired, the couple moved to Aberdeen, Wash., to be near family. In 1997, the Horners moved to Astoria. In October of 2008, they moved to Necanicum Village in Seaside, where they have resided since.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Vic and Janice Bienghettle of Fresno, Calif., and Mark Rissey of Astoria; three stepsons; one stepdaughter; and numerous grandchildren.
A memorial will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 10 at the Necanicum Village Assisted Living Facility, 2500 S. Roosevelt Drive in Seaside.
Caldwell’s Luce-Layton Mortuary in Astoria is in charge of the arrangements.
