Cyrus James Kekoa Kanoho, of Warrenton, was born on April 13, 1999, in Lihue, Kauai, Hawaii.
He had the most infectious laugh and was such a caring soul. Anyone who met him loved him right away. Although he was here for such a short time, he left a huge impact on everyone’s life with so much positivity. His passion in life was cooking “onolicious” food and sharing it with all he loved.
Cyrus is survived by his parents, Burl Kanoho (Lisa Grimes), of Seaside, and Venus Kanoho (Steve Beeman), of Anahola, Hawaii; brother, Burl “Keao” Kanoho (Jack Larsen), of Astoria; sisters, Ashley-Rose Kanoho-Ueland (Tim), of Warrenton, Chynoa-Jean Kanoho, of Puhi, Hawaii and Anela Kanoho, of Anahola; grandmother, Barbara Soto, of Kapaʻa, Hawaii; nephew, Zander; nieces, Karli-Rose, Phoenix and Lorriann; aunts, Debra Bonilla and Becky Horka (Lance), of Hawaii; uncles, Rawlin Kanoho (Cheri), of Salem, Henry Kanoho and Charles Soto, of Hawaii, and Ray Donayri and Frank Donayri, of Warrenton; and cousins, Daleann Hirahara, Kenny Hirahara, Andrew and Cari Hirahara, Danielle and Hannah Donayri, TJ and Matt Burd and Darin Hendrickson, all of Clatsop County. He is also survived by numerous other aunts, uncles and cousins in Hawaii and Oregon.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Robynne Kanoho; and grandfathers, Henry Kanoho and Charles Soto.
A celebration of life will be held at noon Sunday at Cullaby Lake. The family asks you to bring your favorite dish and happy memory of Cyrus to share.
