Gregory Raymond Wilson passed away on Sept. 24, 2018, after four days of hospital care for a stroke.
Born Aug. 17, 1969, in Hanford, California, to William and Florence Wilson, he was the third of three children.
Gregory was raised in Simi Valley, California, and attended Simi Valley schools. He started setting tile as a teen in California. It was an honor to work at the President Ronald Reagan Library in Simi Valley and Disneyland.
After moving to Svensen, Oregon, in 2007, Greg fished in Alaska for several seasons and locally was employed by Scott Utterback at Simply Tile and more.
Greg loved to ride his Harley, fish, train his dogs, music, and taking care of Zeke Rose, whom he was guardian of. Greg had an amazing and lovable personality, which everyone remembered.
Greg is survived by his son, Tanner Lyttle-Wilson of Aguanga, California; his mother, Florence Peugh, and stepfather, Curtis Peugh, of Svensen, Oregon; sister Susan Britton of Norco, California; brother Douglas (Karla) Wilson of Fair Oaks, California; and nieces and nephews Michael Britton and his family, and Megan and Benjamin Wilson. Stephanie Pless is the wonderful woman he planned to spend the rest of his life with. Unfortunately, his life ended very suddenly, and too soon.
Gregory was preceded in death by his father, William W. Wilson in 2016.
A memorial service will be held on Oct. 6, 2018, at 2 p.m. at the Knappa Assembly of God, 41767 Old Highway 30, Astoria, Oregon.
