Louetta Booker, 83, was born on Nov. 7, 1935 in Douglas, North Dakota, to the late Otto and Myrtle Hill. She was an Astoria High School graduate.
She worked at Owl Drug, and for 25 years at Tongue Point Job Corps Center as bookkeeper in the payroll department.
She was a member of the Daughters of Norway and the Moose Lodge. She loved to spend time with her family, play bingo and do crossword puzzles.
She is survived by her daughters, Jeri Booker, of Astoria, and Gayle Sikorski (Matthew), of Bonney Lake, Washington; and grandchildren, Raeanna and Dylan. She is also survived by sisters, Thanna Arant (Ron), and Connie Jacobs (Eugene); brother, David Hill (Linda); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Louetta was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald; son, Greg; and brothers, Gaylord Hill and Jim Hill.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 29 at Caldwell’s Luce-Layton Mortuary. A reception will follow at the Astoria First United Methodist Church.
Interment will be private at Ocean View Cemetery in Warrenton.
